Nick will be attending St. George Medical School in Grenada starting this fall!! Yes, you heard right, this fall!!!
Crazy right?! This is such an exciting time for him and such a big
step toward achieving his dream to become a Doctor! But honestly, I
can’t believe that we are already within a month and half until he
leaves… for so long this was something “down the line”, “in the
future”, “next year”, you get the picture and now it is quickly
approaching and his departure is breathing down our necks! Absolutely
crazy business.
Anyways, this blog is a way for me to document our lives and adventures over the next 2 years while in Grenada. Mainly, I am doing this for my own entertainment, but I am hoping it also allows family and friends who wish to follow our adventures to do so as well! My plan is to write here frequently and to post MANY stories and pictures :) My goal is to keep it real, and tell it how is- meaning there will be a little bit of everything, from daily life to fun island adventures, and a wide range of emotions I am sure! So stay tuned!
St George’s University has no idea how lucky they are to have him :) Next time he is in Grenada, it will be to attend school for the next 2 years, and when he leaves he will be well on his way to becoming Dr. Leo!! Have I mentioned how proud I am??
