Today... I paid a cabbie to drive me (and my groceries) home from the grocery store.
Yep. I did it.
AND IT WAS GLORIOUS!
I sat in the car. Listened to his awesome 90s jams and cruised along with my bags in the trunk. I could have done it for at least an hour because his radio station was seriously jamming.
When we got to my house I happily forked over the money, walked 3 steps to my front door and went inside. Shopping complete!!
My streak of never giving in and calling a cab for the full time I was here may be broken... but it was worth it. There isn't a bone in my body that doesn't think that was the best decision ever!
